Marguerite is a Provisional Psychologist completing her Master of Professional Psychology, currently practising under supervision. She has over seven years’ experience in counselling roles across government and community settings. She also has a broader 20-year background contributing to psychological and public health projects aimed at improving individual and community wellbeing.
She offers a warm, collaborative, and reflective approach to therapy, drawing on strengths-based, attachment-informed, and trauma-aware principles. Marguerite supports clients to better understand their experiences, emotions, and patterns, and to work through challenges in a way that feels meaningful to them, while connecting insight with everyday life.
She works with people experiencing a broad range of concerns, including stress and anxiety, low mood, grief and loss, workplace stress and burnout, illness, relationship difficulties, ageing, caregiving pressures, and life transitions.
Marguerite provides a respectful therapeutic space where clients can build insight and work toward their goals and values at their own pace. Her broader background in psychology and public health informs her understanding of the many factors influencing mental health and wellbeing. She believes that people have an innate capacity for growth, greater self-understanding, and healing, even during difficult times.
She works out of Blaxland on Mondays.
