Kylie Maddox Pidgeon
Kylie Maddox Pidgeon is a Registered Psychologist who works with adolescents, adults, couples and families to facilitate resilience and positive changes in every arena of life.
Kylie takes an empathic, collaborative and strengths-based approach. She incorporates Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Therapy, and Solution-Focussed therapy.
Kylie’s areas of interest include:
Occupational health: Self-care and sustainable practice, occupational stress-management, burnout prevention and recovery, multiple life-role navigation (work-life balance), and strategic planning.
Relationships and Families: Domestic and family violence, parenting skills, communication skills, healthy relationships, mediation and conflict resolution.
Mental health: Depression, stress, anxiety, chronic pain management, chronic illness management, grief and loss.
Christian Counselling: ministry supervision and support for lay and vocational leaders, mission preparation and debriefing, church conflict resolution, and general counselling for Christians.
Kylie is a Member of the Australian Psychological Association, and a registered Medicare provider.
