Debbie Robinson - Registered Psychologist

Debbie is a Registered Psychologist, having worked as a School Counsellor for the past decade, including a Counsellor Exchange experience in Vancouver, Canada. With a genuine interest in people’s stories, Debbie is conscious of how life experiences have shaped unique individuals, and enjoys working alongside the client throughout their therapeutic journey.

 

Having a genuine interest in people’s stories, Debbie is conscious of how life experiences have shaped unique individuals. Subsequently, she takes a person-centred approach to work alongside each individual and is mindful of their strengths and resources in her therapeutic planning.

Her psychological practice draws upon Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focussed Therapy and Narrative Therapy. 

Debbie is particularly interested in working with adolescents and adults in the areas of: 

  • Anxiety 
  • Depression 
  • Grief and Loss 
  • Gender identity 
  • Anger management
  • Self-harm 

She is a Member of the APS and a registered Medicare provider. 

Free time sees Debbie enjoying life with family, catching up with friends, bushwalking and reading.  

Debbie works at our Blaxland office on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays
